Dear Sir or Madam,

Małopolska is the region where everyone can find something for themselves. It is not only a popular tourist destination that visitors from Poland and abroad enjoy visiting, but also a place with a rich cultural offer.

I am very pleased that in the year when we celebrate the 200th birthday anniversary of the Polish national opera father, Stanisław Moniuszko, I can invite you to Małopolska for the first edition of the Royal Opera Festival. This is not a coincidence that the Festival will combine at its inauguration two great opera composers of the nineteenth century - Stanisław Moniuszko and Gioacchino Rossini, whose opera was first staged in Poland exactly 201 years ago.

It is my great pleasure that Małopolska Voivodeship is the main partner of this musical event and I hope that it will become a permanent entry in the calendar of exceptional, opera proposals of our region.

I am convinced that the Royal Opera Festival 2019 will be appreciated by a wide audience. I wish all the Festival guests a lot of enjoyable, artistic experience.

Yours faithfully,

Witold Kozłowski

Marshal of Małopolska Voivodeship
